Please review the following terms that govern our in-home IT support and computer repair services.
1. Services
Moose Jaw Tech provides in-home IT support and computer repair services, including but not limited to computer tune-ups, virus and malware removal, Wi-Fi and network troubleshooting, printer setup, software support, device installation, and general technical assistance within Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan and surrounding areas.
We will make every reasonable effort to diagnose and resolve the issues described. Some problems may not be fully resolvable due to hardware failure, third-party software limitations, or other factors outside our control.
2. Appointments & Cancellations
Appointments, including evening and weekend visits, are scheduled by phone or text and confirmed in advance. Please provide accurate information about your issue so we can come prepared.
We kindly ask for at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Missed appointments or cancellations without notice may be subject to the house call service fee.
3. Pricing & Payment
Pricing is provided before work begins. A house call service fee may apply to each visit. Hourly work is billed at the applicable standard, evening, or weekend rate and may be billed in 30-minute increments.
Replacement parts, hardware, and third-party software or licenses are not included in service fees unless otherwise stated. Payment is due upon completion of the service unless other arrangements have been agreed in writing.
4. Data & Backups
While we take great care with your devices and data, you are responsible for maintaining your own backups of important files. We strongly recommend backing up your data before any service.
Moose Jaw Tech is not liable for any loss of data, files, or software that may occur during the course of service, including during repairs, upgrades, virus removal, or data recovery attempts.
5. Customer Responsibilities
You agree to provide safe access to the devices and a suitable working environment in your home. You confirm that you are the owner of the equipment, or are authorized to request service on it, and that any software involved is properly licensed.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Moose Jaw Tech's total liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount paid for the specific service in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
7. Warranty
Workmanship on a specific repair is covered for a reasonable period as discussed at the time of service. This warranty does not cover new or unrelated issues, physical damage, or problems caused by misuse, malware reinfection, or third-party changes after our visit.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your appointment applies to that service. If you have any questions, please contact us before booking.
